Wheatley
The Wheatley Pottery was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1903 by T. J. Wheatley. Wheatley company produced pottery in the arts and crafts style. Wheatley Pottery produced art pottery, garden ware and architectural items. Wheatley Pottery is typically covered in matte glazes and decorated in relief. The pottery halted production of pottery in 1910 and was sold to Cambridge Tile Manufacturing Company in 1927. Auction highlights include an antique vase sold by Skinner’s on June 3, 1999 for $143,375.
