Iconic keyring features six different keys. Base features a plaque that reads, ''October 3, 1955 / Original Keys to the Treasure House / They Opened a World of Enchantment / to Millions of America's Children / Presented by the Captain Kangaroo Staff to Bob Keeshan / October 3, 1980''. Encased in a lucite block on a wooden base to an overall size of 8'' x 11.5'' x 2.25''. Heavy tarnishing and rubbing to keys and keyring from thirty years of daily use. Description: George III mahogany and satinwood secretary bookcase late 18th century In two parts: the upper section with molded lift-off cornice over twin astragal glazed cupboard doors; the lower section with pullout drawer writing surface with a series of pigeonholes and drawers, over three graduated long drawers raised on outswept forelegs. H: 91 1/4, W: 43 1/2, D: 21 1/2 in.

Condition Report: Old scuffs, marks, and scratches consistent with age and use; some areas of veneer splitting and lifting; bottom left pentagonal glazed panel cracked; age splits to one side and back of lower section; interior drawers of secretaire probably later reconstructed; loss of banding to right side of secretaire drawer face; hardware replaced; shelf depth to upper section is 12 3/4" Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports.
