Allianz
Swiss group of painters and sculptors founded in 1937 from various avant-garde elements, with Max Bill, Walter Bodmer, Richard Paul Lohse, Robert S. Gessner (b 1908), Camille Graeser, Fritz Glarner, Max Huber (b 1919) and Verena Loewensberg (b 1912) among its original members; its president was the painter Leo Leuppi (b 1893).
