It is fitted with a Breguet manufacture caliber 518 automatic movement and indicates the hour, minute, second and date. The 750 yellow gold guilloché dial has black Roman numerals, dot indices and blued steel hands. The strap and fluted watch case are made from 750 yellow gold and stainless steel; the folding clasp is also made from 18 carat yellow gold. The dial, movement and watch case back are signed "Breguet". The watch case is numbered 7941 and measures 39 mm in diameter, 42 mm including the strap horns. The watch is in very good condition with some traces of wear and scratches on the bezel and case. It worked flawlessly during a short-time test; no guarantee on accuracy. The watch comes with the original green leather box, which displays light traces of wear. Breguet S.A. In 1775 the watchmaker Abraham Louis Breguet founded the watch manufacture Montres Breguet S.A. in Paris. Today it is based in Vallée de Joux in Switzerland. Breguet paved the way for the modern, daily-worn watch with the first wristwatch, which was produced between 1810 and 1812. Breguet watches soon became so famous that they were often forged. From 1796 Breguet watches were given a secret signature on the dial for this reason. The so-called Breguet spring, a specially shaped coil spring in the escapement, is also very well known among experts. Breguet was taken over by the Swatch Group in 1999.
