Description: MARINE OOC - Portrait of the Sailing Ship 'Iroqouis' by Percy Sanborn (Maine, 1849-1929), unsigned, captioned in his hand 'Ship Iroquois, Albert V. Nichols, Master, Built at Bath, 1881'. Note verso reads 'Painted by Perrcy Sanborn. The Iroquois was the last ship Albert V. Nickels commanded.' Nickels (1833-1902), was a legendary Searsport , Maine Sea Captain. SS: 17" x 26", OS: 21" x 30". Fine condition, cleaned.

Description: EARLY SILVER PENDANT - Renaissance Period silver drop pendant with bezel set rose-cut diamonds and rubies, with a painted enamel panel depicting a saint; plus handmade filigree link silver chain. Three part pendant consists of a crown set with (3) rubies at the top and alternating rubies and diamonds on the base, a bow set with a central diamond and alternating diamonds and rubies on the bands, and an oval drop centered with a painted enamel panel depicting a female saint or the Virgin Mary with applied gold rope form frame surrounded by alternating diamonds and rubies in a filigree design outer edge. All rubies are set in gold. Reverse side of oval panel is engraved with a cross, and 'I H S'. Silver chain has filigree and oval alternating links. 2.28 ozt total weight; Pendant: 2 3/4" long x 1 3/8" wide. Chain: 61" long. Single diamond missing from crown base panel, one filigree link on chain is missing central wirework; otherwise good condition.
