H8 3/4" W8 D8 1/4" Provenance: South Carolina private collection. Other Notes: This face jug was found in a Winder, Georgia tavern about twenty years ago and was one of a pair that hung on the wall above the front entrance. They were said to have been made at a nearby pottery operation, possibly by John Wesley Bell of Barrow County, Georgia.
