Description: Standing four-square on the balls of its large rounded feet and with trunk lifted, the fully caparisoned pachyderm with a two-tiered pagoda on its back, a swirling dragon crowning the structure, height 28" - 71 cm.

Lot 13: Cloisonne Enamel Landscape Vase, Ando School, Early 20th Century

Description: Depicting a Chinese landscape on a vanilla ground, the rims in silver. Original certificate book included stating the piece was manufactured in 1936. Hardwood stand, height 18.2" - 46.3 cm., Ando seal to base Provenance: Commissioned by the current owner's grandfather, Jose Santos Alonso, a Mexican businessman working in Japan. This vase was originally one of a pair.

Condition Report: U-shaped crack to upper rim with diameter 5.1 cm; circular bruise to back (area where body and neck meet) 4.1 cm wide; star fractures to left side of landscape below left handle

Condition Report: Overall excellent condition. Very minor rubbing to gilding

Lot 18: Sendai Wheeled Kuruma Yonshaku Tansu, Mid-19th Century

Description: Specifically designed for sword storage and containing one full-length drawer and five smaller drawers, door panel opens to reveal three hidden compartments, the whole raised on four wheels and with iron mounts throughout. Lock and keys included, 42.9" x 46.5" x 20.9" - 109 x 118 x 53 cm.

Condition Report: Overall very good condition with minor wear. Surface re-lacquered. Metal mounts still present, and locks and keys still functional. Some age cracks and splitting to bottom panel of drawers

Lot 19: Suit of Samurai Amour with Iron Suji Kabuto and Nuinobe Do, Momoyama Period, 17th Century

Description: With kabuto (helmet) of maru-bachi shape with exposed rivets, fitted to the tehen are elaborate kanamono in six stages in shakudo, red copper, gilded copper, and silver, the bowl with fitted three lame shikoro of o-manju form, made of steel lame laced in light blue silk; the do (body armour) constructed from rows of large scales, or their false equivalents, fastened together by sugake lacing, the upper plates expose the red colour of the lacquer, most of which is hidden by golden silk brocade, amour box with fan kamon crest, height 53.5" ã 136 cm. Description: Standing on a rock base amidst a wall of flames, the personification of Dainichi Nyorai with fierce expression, inlaid crystal eyes, and loose necklace, his right hand holding a sword (representing wisdom cutting through ignorance) and left hand holding a rope (to catch demons), to his right stands the cowardly and loyal Seitaka Dori, and to his left, the evil and disobedient Seitaka Doji, height 36.6" ã 93 cm.

Description: Supported on four paw form feet with a fu-lion finial, lotus sprays decorate the censer throughout, height 5.3" - 13.5 cm.

Condition Report: Item examined under UV light. Cover is in very good condition and with no damages. Censer has one corner restored at rim measuring 1.9 cm. No other condition problems noted.

Lot 31: Magnificent Satsuma Tray, Signed Kyozan, Late 19th Century
