Description: Auto Pistol. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 9616r. Bbl. 4". Refinished rework with unusual mixture of features. S# range correct for dbl. date yet chamber is unmarked. Has sear safety, stock lug & cut for mag. safety. Has matching numbers but mixture of commercial & military locations. Commercial placement on side plate, takedown lever & breech bolt. Military placement on bbl., balance of toggle assembly (including extractor), rear toggle pivot trigger safety lever & bar. Only visible proof mark is "crown N" on left front of receiver extension (vertical) & bbl. Stock lug & lower front grip strap marked "S.M.788." Left grip marked "C". Right grip has "crown U". Left side of frame near side plate has sm. vertical mark near grip. Tin plated aluminum bottom mag. marked with "eagle/2./961.6/788". CONDITION: right grip is noticeably hand worn. Left grip similar with some impact marks & chip missing by safety lever along with rectangular section missing just below side plate. Very good bore with hint of frosting. Exterior finish very good with grip area & top portions somewhat brighter than usual reworks. Good plus mag. with green residue likely from being in holster. (12-3174/NW). CURIO. $450-700.
