The wear is uneven, though there is good pile on about 85%. There are some threadbare areas, with brown-dyed yarns showing the most loss (as usual). We see some loss at the ends and some small damages to the edge binding. There is a transverse band about 2 in. wide which has more intense colors for some reason. This is a bright rug for a dark room. The vermilion is bright but not shocking. There are a few touches of carmine pink (with some light bleeding). The other colors are rather mellow.
