etching with drypoint and engraving, circa 1810, Harris's state I ii, an exceptionally rare working proof before letters and numbers (Harris records six other examples, five in public collections), a fine impression, on heavy laid paper watermarked SERRA, with wide margins, the number 13 in pen and ink in the upper right corner, the artist's name and a price (5/-) in pencil in the lower margin, pale scattered foxing in the margin at left, one or two spots elsewhere, minor creasing in the left margin (probably produced by the press)
