Manufactured in 1904. Equipped with a Lyman folding globe front sight marked "LYMAN PAT. JULY 14, 91" along the top and folding leaf rear sight. Marked with the two line address/1894 patent date on the top barrel flat ahead of the rear sight, two line nickel steel marking on the left rear upper flat and "30 W.C.F." at the breech. The top barrel flat and top of the receiver at the breech are marked with the later production Winchester oval proofs and the three line manufacturer/model trade mark information is on the upper tang. Casehardened hammer, lever and buttplate. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a metal forend cap and crescent buttplate.
