Manufactured in 1902. This rifle has a Lyman blade front sight with bead, a Winchester special smokeless rear sight and a full length magazine. Standard two line top barrel flat address/patent date marking ahead of the caliber marking, "32 W.S.". Left barrel flat has the smokeless powder marking and upper tang is marked with the three line model designation/trademark. Mounted on a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with carbine style buttplate.
