Manufactured in 1907. Pinned blade front sight, sporting leaf rear sight, full length magazine tube and saddle ring staple and ring on the left side of receiver. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/1884 patent date directly ahead of the rear sight followed by the Winchester oval proof. The top of the barrel at the breech is marked "44 W.C.F." and the top of the receiver has the Winchester oval proof. The upper tang is stamped with the three line model designation/trademark. Mounted on a plain forearm and straight grip stock with carbine buttplate.
