Description: Manufactured in 1949. Features a hooded ramp blade front and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights on a checkered semi-gloss walnut pistol grip stock with a semi-beavertail forearm and metal end cap, 1/2 length magazine tube, Winchester Repeating Arms Co. marked hard rubber grip cap, and checkered metal buttplate. Receiver is tapped for sight which is now absent. Complete with a leather military style sling with quick release swivels.

Condition: Very fine. The rifle retains approximately 90% plus original finish with some thinning at the muzzle, on the underside of the receiver, on the lever and high edge wear. Overall there are a few light scratches and minor handling marks. The stock has been refinished and remains excellent with a few overall scattered minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The sling is good. The markings remain sharp and clear. The action is excellent.
