The three-masted schooner Albert T. Stearnsof Newburyport, MA. Built in New Bedford in 1883. Last listed circa 1903. The ship was of 508 tons and 152.2 feet long. Her master for many years was Nehimiah B. Kelley of Harwichport, MA. She is listed in the source material with the middle initials of "F." or "T." Capt. Kelley was admitted to the Boston Marine Society in 1883. He was a partner in at least one ship with Alexander Snow of Harwich. Signed lower left "W.P. Stubbs." Relined.Oil on canvas, 22" x 36".
