Fine oil on canvas New England landscape shows a couple resting on grass covered riverbank under a large grove of trees. A small boat with three figures is seen on calm water with rocky banks and colorful trees. In the distance are farmhouses and fields below low mountains. A saltbox house can be seen on bluff overlooking the scene. All under a well executed colorful sky. Signed lower right "W G Boardman". Housed in a fine gilt gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 23" x 35".
