Description: Very rare "hump back" style pintail drake, Ward Brothers, Crisfield, Maryland, circa late 1920's. Detailed feather paint on back. Extra fine form. Signed and dated 1926 on underside by Lem Ward with the inscription "MADE FOR SENATOR ELWOOD DIZE".
Condition: Original paint with minor wear on most of the decoy; old touch up to two worn spots under the tail; some of the neck filler has been replaced with touch up in that area; slight rough area on one edge of bill; some paint shrinkage on breast.
