serial #1075946, 45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1943 manufactured pistol that retains 97% plus of the original Du-Lite blue finish that has silvered slightly along some of the edges and faded along the checkering points of the mainspring housing as well as on the exposed portions of the correct High Standard manufactured barrel.A faint disassembly mark is also visible on the left side of the frame at the "R.C.D. (in circle)" inspector marking. The checkered first type Keyes Fiber Co. grips are in fine shape with just some very mild flattening of the points and a few light handling marks around the butt on both panels. The pistol is housed in an excellent unmarked telescopic box with original wax paper wrap and two magazines; one unmarked and one M.S. Little Co. "L" marked example. This is a simply splendid and highly desirable U.S.&S. pistol in excellent condition.(74756-37) {C&R} [Kurgan Collection]
