This lot includes the set of typed manuscripts shown in the corresponding image. This material includes various typed pages from a French manuscript presumably by Fernand Fonssagrives titled La Lumiere Ressuscites, with his signature on one page. Also included is sheet music with the same title, handwritten by Fonssagrives. This lot also includes a typed English manuscript by David Tyson Which Came First? A Systematic Introduction to Philosophy, with handwritten edits. Due to the high volume of books and other interesting items on paper we are selling at this auction, we will be offering a number of bulk buy opportunities such as this one during the course of the day. To inspect and acquire more detailed information about this lot, please attend our live preview before the auction. As with all the books and ephemera in these lots, these items are generally in good, intact condition with some age/wear indications; older items are more likely to have advanced flaws.

This lot comes from the collection of photographer Fernand Fonssagrives. Fernand Fonssagrives (June 8, 1910 - April 23, 2003), born near Paris, France, was a fashion photographer in the 1940s and 1950s when he took pictures for Town and Country and Harper's Bazaar magazines known for his 'beauty photography'. The native Frenchman lived the last 30 years of his life in Little Rock, Arkansas. His later pictures featured female nudes with patterns of light on their skin. He was a professional dancer, one of the top photographers in NYC and at one point the highest paid photographer in New York. He was an award winning sculptor working in Bronze, and an avid painter who wrote prolifically. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $18.50
