Condition/Details: Bound in cream-colored cloth with silver angel stamped on top board and silver-stamping to spine, this volume is a scarce autographed original edition of this novel by Toni Morrison (born Chloe Ardelia Wofford on February 18, 1931), a Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Prize-winning American author, editor, and professor. Her novels are known for their epic themes, vivid dialogue, and richly detailed black characters. "Beloved" is her Pulitzer Prize-winning fifth novel, loosely based on the life and legal case of the slave Margaret Garner.
