THREE-PIECE VICTORIAN ARMORIAL SILVER COFFEE SET, London. Coffee pot and creamer by John Mortimer and John Samuel Hunt, 1841-1842; sugar by Edward and John Barnard, 1864. Coffee pot stamped "Mortimer & Hunt", creamer "M&H", each piece with inventory or stock number. Bulbous form, foliate capped c-scroll handles; each side with chased armorial decoration - a Latin banner reading "In Hoc Signo Vinces", over a hairy paw emerging from a crown and two leopards flanking a crest - 50 oz., 2 dwt.; 9 1/2 in. high, coffee pot.
