Description: Jules Pascin (Bulgarian/French, 1885-1930), "Young Woman with Basket of Fruit", oil on canvas, 36 1/4" x 28", signed LL. Needs cleaning. Several minor slits to canvas upper left. Small abrasions center right and minor paint loss lower right. Otherwise, good, unlined condition in a period frame with minor losses measuring 44 1/2" x 36 1/4". Inscribed verso: "The picture must be varnished after." Also inscribed with the date of November 1929 and the title of the painting, "Jne Fille corbeille de Fruits" ("Young Woman Basket of Fruit").
