"The Life and Correspondence of Major-General Sir John Malcolm, G.C.B., Late Envoy to Persia, and Governor of Bombay", by John William Kaye; Smith, Elder and Co., London, 1865. Red leather with gilt titles and decoration with five raised bands on spine. AEG. Octavo. Volume I has fore edge painting of a view of Calcutta, India. Volume II has fore edge painting of a view of Bombay, India. Slight rubbing on edges of spines. Very good - near fine condition. From the Collection of General W.H. Vanderlinden, Jr., late of Hickory, North Carolina.
