SCHRECKENGOST "HIGH FIRE" WATERCOLOR. 20th c. On paper. Signed. This painting by the famous Ohio painter and ceramicist Viktor Schreckengost (born 1906) interprets the pots of a fellow Ohio artist, Claude Conover. According to correspondance between Conover and the consignor, Schreckengost's painting was once exhibited beside Conover's pots. Size: 39" h., 29" w., framed 49" h., 39" w. Condition: no defects to the art; frame as is; must be shipped by a 3rd party due to its size.
