Manufactured in 1915. Blade front sight and three leaf rear sight (second leaf is broken). The left side of the barrel is marked with the two line address/patent date marking followed by the two line nickel steel marking and "30 W.C.F." The upper tang is marked with the three line model information and a saddle ring staple with ring is mounted on the left side of the frame. It has a full tubular magazine, smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine style buttplate. Accompanied by a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives dated 11 July 2005 listing this carbine as one of several carbines being removed from the NFA (National Firearms Act) and classified as a curio and relic.
