Condition/Details: Bound in dark blue cloth with bright embossed gilt lettering and regimental badge to spine, this antique volume is a scarce regimental history from the period of the United States Civil War. The work contains a tissue-guarded frontispiece and numerous in-text illustrations and plates. Area maps are also present. Final pages consist of illustrated regimental roster. The volume is in excellent condition, and is solidly bound with mildly age-toned pages. Index shows several annotations. A photocopy of a photograhic image of an officer by the name of Edward Mulle (Mille) has been pasted onto one of the final blank pages. Previous owner's name is pencilled onto front endpaper. Book has protective mylar cover. The book measures approximately 6 1/4" x 9 1/4" and contains 573 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
