Condition/Details: Bound in blue cloth with bright embossed lettering, this volume is a scarce edition of this Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Robert Penn Warren in an intact pictorial dustjacket.
"All the King's Men" famously portrays the dramatic political ascent and governorship of Willie Stark, a driven, cynical populist in the American South during the 1930s. The novel is narrated by Jack Burden, a political reporter who comes to work as Governor Stark's right-hand man. The trajectory of Stark's career is interwoven with Jack Burden's life story and philosophical reflections.
The volume shows very light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. Dustjacket shows minor chipping along edges and small tears at top of rear cover and head of spine.
