A fine early Door of Hope policeman with mitt hands, both elusive and seldom found. Similar in nature to the first policeman (earlier lot) it is quite interesting to see the differences that 20 or 50 years makes as far as changes and differences to clothing and facial expressions/facial carving. Dressed in blue with appliques on his collar and he is topped with a hat and what appears to be an official emblem on the front of his hat. SIZE: 12". CONDITION: Overall very fine, minor carving flaw under lower lip giving indication of a mole. 1-9617
