STUDY AFTER THE BUBBLE BOY signed and dated "86"; inscribed "Fait par P. Peel 1886" and "Hors Concours" on the reverse oil on canvas 35 by 25.4 cm. 13 3/4 by 10 in. Another version of the head of this subject is in the collection of the Art Gallery of Ontario. The Bubble Boy, painted in 1884, was included in the Paul Peel retrospective at the London Regional Art Gallery in 1986.
