Robins, the date of 1786 for William Pitts, and the hidden and secret script engraving in the groove under one of the shaped three candles arms, depicting the name of William Earl Nelson, June, 1813, indicates this pair of candelabras were probably made to order and exclusively for William Earl Nelson.
