PAIR OF CONTINUOUS ARM BRACE BACK WINDSOR CHAIRS. Attributed to New York. Old brown paint over earlier colors. Baluster and ring turned legs with high tapered feet and the "H" stretcher has small raised rings on either side of the center swell. Well-shaped and incised seat and baluster arm supports with a beaded bow. Glued splits beneath the seats, otherwise good condition. Ex George Samaha, Ex Pottinger. Seats 18"h., 35"h. overall.
