Davis, Boston, c. 1800, each andiron with faceted belted oval top with belted oval finial above hexagonal shaft on spurred arched legs with slipper feet, conforming log stops with ring-turned legs, the curved log supports are both impressed "J. DAVIS BOSTON," together with a pair of tongs and a shovel with matching tops, (variation in brass coloration on log stops), andiron ht. 21 5/8, wd. 14 1/2, dp. 23 3/4, tool lg. 34 3/4, 36 5/8 in.
