OOP, DOUBLE-SIDED - 'Donkeys in a Desert' by John Singer Sargent (MA/UK, 1856-1925), painted in 1880 in Morocco, depicting three tethered donkeys with crouching human figures on sand dune behind, with a study of three Venetian gondolas on reverse, on unprimed panel, unsigned but in the Sargent Catalog Raisonne, 'Figures and Landscapes, 1874 - 1882', page 298, in gilt panel frame with molded edge, SS: 9 1/2" x 13", OS: 18 1/2" x 22 1/4", fine condition.
