Hanson' by William Pierce Stubbs (MA, 1842-1909), depicted passing a lighthouse, signed lower left, in replica gold molded frame with tag, SS: 22" x 36", OS: 25 1/2" x 39 1/2", cleaned and relined in 2000 by Nina Roth-Wells, includes Conservator's report. From a Bath Maine estate. This ship was named after her owner and Captain, from Penobscot, Maine, who inturn was named after the first President of the Continental Congress.
