Iron mounted, sabre produced by Nathan Starr circa 1812/ 13 produced as the 2nd type under the 1812 Contract. Sword exhibits lack of leather on the grip. Ricasso marked on obverse "P" over "H.H.P." over "N. STARR". The HHP indicates inspection by Henry H. Perkin. Blade measures 34" and exhibits no fuller. Sword housed in iron scabbard. Shipping: $20 plus insurance.
