Brass mounted sabre with reverse "P" knucklebow with bird's head pommel produced by Nathan Starr circa 1805 - 1810. Sword exhibits leather wrapped grip with trace of wire wrap. Ricasso marked on obverse "N. STARR" in sunken cartouche. Blade measures 33 3/4" and exhibits a single wide fuller. No scabbard. This is possibly a pattern sword.
