(1791-1872), Presentation Copy, Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States, New York: Leavitt, Lord, & Co., 1835, originally published in the New York Observer, inscribed to flyleaf "Dr. Sam. F. Jarvis with the sincere respect and esteem of the author," cloth, 12mo, (minor bumping and chipping, age wear to covers, toning).

Note: Morse, the inventor of the single wire telegraph system, and co-inventor of Morse code, was a virulent anti-Catholic, and an outspoken proponent of anti-immigration movements.
