Standard address and patent markings are present on the barrel and cylinder, with the former showing a light muzzle band and leafy scrolls on the lug, and the latter decorated with a finely done etched and engraved hunting scene, depicting the closing moments of a boar hunt, with the hunter on horseback, spear raised for throwing. The major details are deeply acid etched, with the finer aspects engraved in. Silver finished frame with scroll and punch dot engraving, and smooth bird's head grips.
