Merriam Manufacturing American Tin and cast iron Bell Toy, circa 1875, featuring a tin figure in walking pose, connected to a simple mechanism on the wheeled base and a brass bell on s-curved wire supports, drawn by a tan horse on single wheel, when rolled forward the boy moves back and forth, as if walking, as he rings the bell; platform is fancy cast pierced cast iron, (condition is excellent plus, with scuffs on Boy's coat, but overall finish is incredibly strong and bright). length 15in. (38.1cm.)
