Condition/Details: This antique ribbon-bound volume, with lithographic illustrations and gilt lettering to front cover, is a scarce program of the inaugural ball of William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States. The work consists of four boards that are illustrated with engraved portraits of McKinley and Vice-President Garrett A. Hobbart, a tissue-guarded listing of the Executive Committee, as well as with emblems of the States of Ohio, New Jersey and the United States. The final board offers a color illustration showing the flag of the United States fluttering above dark clouds, before what appears to be a rising sun. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 8 1/2" x 10". Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
