LANDING AT CACHE RIVER signed oil on panel 26.3 by 34.9 cm. 10 3/8 by 13 3/4 in. Cullen was particularly noted for his winter scenes along the river shores around Quebec City, Lévis and the Laurentians, where he found points of interest in sawmills, shipyards and ferryboats. This work is in the Cullen Inventory as no. 1180 and was sold by the Watson Galleries of Montreal in 1923.
