View from a Mosque signed Louis C. Tiffany, l.l. - - oil on canvas 13 1/8 x 11 1/2 in. (33.4 x 29 cm.) PROVENANCE Acquired directly from the artist Jimmy Stewart, New York Descended in the Stewart family Jimmy Stewart was a long-time designer and glassblower in Tiffany's studios, and acquired a number of paintings from the artist. The present painting was probably executed circa 1873, during Tiffany's trip to Tangier, Morocco and other parts of North Africa.
