Description: Manufactured after 1932, likely a product of the production clean-up run that lasted 8 years after the last year of production (1932). This Model 1890 slide action rifle is a Third Model and chambered in 22 long rifle. Blade front sight and 1901 patented adjustable notch rear sight on a barrel marked with the standard two line address/patent dates marking followed by "--MODEL 90.--.22 LONG RIFLE." on the left flat. Equipped with a Lyman tang peep sight. 12 groove forearm and deluxe checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber Winchester grip cap and crescent steel buttplate.

Condition: Refinished, with approximately 99% blue finish remaining with some mild scratches and some mild slide wear. The wood is very fine as professionally refinished with some minor dings and scratches. There are a few mild dings in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
