KLIMT, Gustav (1862-1918). Autograph postcard signed ('BESTE GRÜSSE GUS.') to his companion Emilie Flöge, n.p., n.d. [postmarked Vienna, 8 July 1908], looking forward to going for walks with her, as his present solitude is uncongenial ['Spaziergänge werden wir schon ausfindig machen -- die jetzige Einsamkeit schädigt, glaube ich, den Eindruck'], and remarking on reports that the level of the lake [the Attersee, where the Flöges had a house] is unusually low, and that the flowers have been destroyed by hail, 2 pages, oblong 8vo, Wiener Werkstätte postcard no.137, by Urban Janke; framed and glazed.
