Autograph postcard signed ('GUSTAV') to his companion Emilie Flöge, Raab, 28 October 1915, announcing his safe arrival after a rather boring journey ['wol behalten angekommen. Fahrt durch etwas langweilige Gegend'], and promising further news in person as he hopes to be back in Vienna on Friday, in spite of some expectation that he stay longer ['Man hat mir hier einen längeren Aufenthalt zugemutet. Ich fahre aber morgen'], 1½ pages, 8vo, on Wiener Werkstätte postcard no. 267, 'Königliche Burg in Ofen' by Josef Diveky; framed and glazed. Provenance: Sotheby's sale, 6 October 1999, lot 65.
