Strand mit Badeh쳌tten signed and dated 'S.Rottluff 1914' (lower right) gouache, watercolour, brush and black ink on paper 131/2 x 17in. (34.3 x 43cm.) Executed in 1914 PROVENANCE Kunsthaus Dr. Herbert Tannenbaum, Mannheim. Acquired from the above by the grandparents of the present owner in the 1920s and thence by descent.
