Description: JULIE SPEIDEL (1941- , Washington) CAST ART GLASS - Titled "Namche Barwa" - Glass and bronze with custom stand - Speidel shows at Winston Wachter Gallery, Seattle - Known for her bronze, glass and stone sculptures, her work is found in museums as well as the outdoor piece "Tregaseal" at the Federal Courthouse in Seattle, WA - Condition good, with no noted flea bites or scratches; bubbles and artifacts in glass are a natural result of the casting process - Glass rests on stand without being fixed, and brass pieces rest in the glass and are also not fixed - Dated 2003 - 29" x 24" x 7" (glass and box stand, not including brass stool/display)
