Still Life with Books and Mug oil on plaster 141/4 x 191/4 in. (36.3 x 48.9 cm.) PROVENANCE The artist, Island Heights, New Jersey. Bernard & S. Dean Levy, New York. Acquired by the present owner from the above, 1979. NOTES This work was originally painted as part of a mural in an upstairs bedroom in the artist's studio and home, Island Heights, New Jersey. A letter from Alfred V. Frankenstein dated February 3, 1973 discussing the work accompanies this lot.
