NOTE

The Bridge at New Hope was accepted for exhibition at the National Academy of Design in 1916 but was exhibited instead at the Lotos Club due to space restraints. A review of the exhibition in the April 4, 1916 edition of the New York Tribune described this painting as "one of this young artist's successful winter bridge and river scenes, showing some ability to represent in paint a bitter cold atmosphere."
