Condition Note: Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in fair condition, relining has compressed surface, there is little texture left and several areas where canvas weave shows through UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: evidence of some inpainting in the sky, old varnish makes it difficult to see through; there is probably older restoration--hard to read.
